Target audience: CMO, VP Digital Marketing, Product Managers
Executives, managers, and employees of all kinds are faced with a shifting business paradigm. Consumers are driving market change, expectations, and brand interaction like never before. The stakes are the highest they have ever been.
Are you ready to embrace the changes required to meet your customer demands? At Acquia we recognize this is challenging and we are here to help you succeed. We have designed a course around the critical steps individuals need to take when taking on a Digital Transformation project. Step #1 is understanding where your company is when it comes to digital. We call this our Digital Portfolio Assessment (DPA).
In this course you will learn how to align your digital roadmap with your business strategy, understand the impact of new operating and governance models, explore new delivery models and solutions, understand the impact to your team, and above all evaluate how to measure and sell your initiative to your internal stakeholders.
Time: 9am - 12pm
Target audience: Technical architects, developers, and QA specialists
Using best practices for development is important, especially for enterprise sites that "can't fail." But implementing processes like continuous integration and delivery can be difficult. Acquia’s new Continuous Delivery tools make it easy.
Learn how to increase the reliability, quality, and speed of your development cycles using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery on Acquia Cloud. Catch bugs before they’re merged into your codebase and preview changes before it’s time to release!
In this course you will learn how to continuously assure the quality of your Drupal application
Requirements: Please bring a laptop with a Unix or OSX environment (Windows users may use VMs).
Afternoon workshop descriptions

Customer experience happens across all channels, and it should be personalized the entire way. We will look at the steps need to develop a strategy, execute, iterate, and continuously delight our customers.
Time: 1 pm - 3 pm
Target audience: CMO, VP of digital, product managers
Marketers and Content Editors are faced with the challenge of trying to create unique personalized experiences for their customers across digital channels. In order to have a one to one dialogue with the brand and consumer, we must first understand our customers holistically. Join us in this breakout session as we dive into the data being collected on our customers. In understanding patterns and trends, we can then move into how to create personalized experiences for them across our digital channels. We will learn how one can use the power of Drupal and their existing content workflows to create personalized experiences. We will work through a set of tried and tested use cases to showcase what has worked for clients in the past. We will also explore the metrics we should use to measure our hypothesis.
Time: 3 pm - 5 pm
Target audience: Digital Platform Managers, architects, CTOs, CDOs
Digital technology executives and platform organizations are faced with hyper expanding applications for digital experience sites supporting local marketing campaigns to global branding and commerce deployments. The increasing requirements for creative flexibility, controlling costs, and managing multi-site consistency, availability, and security are driving organizations to take a strategic approach to digital platform management and governance. The desire to increase digital business and platform technology performance to a new level of trusted service provider status is increasing the adoption of a common platform for digital delivery and site governance.
Time: 3 pm - 5 pm
Target audience: Product owners, marketing directors, program managers

"Agile" means many things to many people and organizations. Some components can vary depending on the nature of work and skill set of the team. However, there are a few fundamentals that can simply make or break the success of your project; one being the important role of the product owner.
This workshop is intended to reinforce the product owner’s role in a project environment, their impact on the quality and success of a project, and skills needed to ensure the product owner can contribute heavily to successful project deliveries. We will cover what project team members should expect from the product owner, best practices for product owners, and their ‘day in the life of’ activities.
The course will start with a quick primer on Agile, with topics on story writing and grooming as well as sprint planning and managing stakeholder expectations. The session will culminate in a retrospective for all attendees to share in and learn from others’ experiences.
